Getting Better Answers From Rumi

A few simple ways to ask clear questions and get more useful guidance from the HelloRoom assistant.

3 min read September 14, 2026

Be specific about what you want to do

Rumi can respond more clearly when your question includes the goal you are trying to accomplish. Instead of asking only “How?”, try saying what feature or task you are working with.

For example, “How do I schedule a HelloRoom meeting for tomorrow?” gives Rumi more useful context than a very broad question.

Include useful details

If your question involves a meeting, include the meeting title, date, time, or other details when they are relevant. This helps Rumi give a more focused answer and, when supported, prepare the correct platform action.

Ask follow-up questions

Rumi can use the context of the current conversation, so you do not always need to repeat everything. If an answer is not detailed enough, ask Rumi to explain the HelloRoom-specific part you still need help with.

Choose the right Rumi model

Different Rumi model tiers provide different levels of detail. If you only need a quick answer, a lighter model may be enough. If you need more context or a more thorough HelloRoom explanation, a higher tier may be more appropriate.
